About Dawn ReidJust a little note at this time I am full but if any openings come up I will post them. Thanks to everyone who has shown interest in my day home. About Me: I am a 34 year old stay at home mom of 3 wonderful boys. I have been watching children since I was 12 years old. I enjoy helping children try new things, learn new activies, and grown into wonderful little people. Where: Shawnessy In walking distance to 2 elementary schools and new middle school 5 parks in walking distance Green belt with bike path for walking, exploring nature and the great outdoors Activities: Lots of outdoor fun in a large fully fenced backyard with play centre and sandbox Crafts, coloring, play dough, creative fun Games, story time, lots of wonderful toys for free play, We will also go for outings everyday to the school to do kindergarten drop of and pick up Other fun outings will also be planned depending on time of year 2 Snacks and Lunch: These will be healthy snacks and lunches Juice, milk, water will be drinks of choice Breakfast will also be provided for those who need it (served 8:45am) Set up: Playroom level has bathroom on its level along with walk out to the backyard Kitchen area will be used for snacks, lunch and creative actives. The kitchen looks down on the play area so everyone will always be in sight. We do have a larger dog that is very friendly that will be away from the kids most of the time. QualificationsI have my first aid training and CPR. I am also a registered day home with Child Development Dayhomes (peace of mind). I have my criminal and family service check done, along with the agency will help me get my early childhood courses. I have also done a car seat safety course. |
