About Deb Whitfield

I am a mom of 2 girls ages 2 and 4. I provide care for no more than five children aged 12 months to six years, not including my own, in my home. Our home is located in South London, minutes from the 401 and on route to downtown. We are close to Wellington and Southdale in the little known Veteran's subdivision surrounded by Whiteoaks, Cleardale, Lockwood Park and Westminster subdivisions and conveniently just one house from Winblest Park.

Qualifications

As a volunteer with the Girl Guides of Canada I have been certified in Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid for over 12 years and recertified my Infant/Child CPR and First Aid in November 2007.

I maintain a clear Criminal Reference Check and will make this available for you to view (as well as my husband's) as required by Canadian laws when working with children or vulnerable persons. My husband has had a Criminal reference check for my daycare in 2008 but also has yearly checks performed as a volunteer soccer coach. I have completed Level One and Two of a three level Family Child Care Training Program through The London Home Child Care Support Network.

I have taken the following courses for childcare providers and parents through Ontario Early Years Centres and Childreach in London.
