Hamilton Mountain Home Daycare (since 2005) has 1 full time space available for child aged 11 mos to 4 yrs. I am a mother of 2, ages 10 & 6 years. Part time could be arranged, but I do have a minimum 3 day per week policy.

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Computerized accounting, and receipts provided at year end.

Non-Smoking household, First Aid/CPR Level C trained.

I have a specialized bright & sunny playroom full of toys that we built into our plans when we added a 2nd level to our home. There, I have weekly themes for the entire year that have: daily accompanying stories, crafts, circle time, and songs. We have a calendar and discuss the dates, weather, season, abcs, colours, and touch on early reading if possible. We stay busy the entire day.

We have daily outdoor walks right after the morning school bus stop in my quiet country-like neighbourhood. Our outdoor playtime is in my fully fenced, huge backyard. There are swings, playhouse, climber with slide, sandbox, ton of ride on toys, and a big bin of misc toys that are kept outside.

Daily afternoon naptime commences at the end of lunch. Each child sleeps in a separate bedroom, in a playpen to ensure a peaceful nap after a busy morning. Please do not reply unless your child still naps.

Please note: we do have 1 dog. She is very friendly and loves all the children. She is not allowed in our playroom during daycare hours, but does come on our walks with us, and our first outdoor playtime trip. If your child is afraid of or allergic to dogs, this is not the right daycare for them.
