Hello,
My name is Abby and I am a younger, energetic mother of two boys, 2 years and 4 years. I have two lovable cats and a completely smoke-free environment. I will make your children feel comfortable, safe and like they are at home. I have my level C first aid and CPR training as well as an approved fire inspection; CIPC available a your request. I live close to many school bus stops for the east end schools including; J.E. Horton, Lundy's Lane and Ecole Cathedral. As well as in walking distance from St. Martha's Catholic School.

I feel that we as parents, we are the most influential people in a young child's life. We need to be there to encourage our children in all decisions and activities. I feel that as a parent myself, that I can give that support and nurturing that your child needs while they are under my care. In my established day home we do a variety of activities on a daily basis that encourage children to have fun; develop their imaginations; continue to develop motor skills and mannerisms. Also I help the children learn the necessary skills needed for school and to continue to develop these skills. These activities include free play; singing and dancing; learning time (alphabet, numbers etc); nutritious snacks (morning and afternoon); outside time (such as walks, trips to the park or playing in my fully fenced backyard); healthy, homemade lunches which contain all the food groups; quiet time; crafts (painting, play-dough, coloring); story time and baking all of it is coordinated to our weekly themes but of course we change it up sometimes!

My regular hours of operation is Monday-Friday from 6:30-5pm. Occasional week-ends, evenings and holidays are available as well if needed. Daily rate for a full day (5 hours and more) is $32; half a day (4 and less) is $21. Evening, weekend and holiday rates are $40. $50 for over nights. All rates are per child.
