CrunchyLand Home Day Care
Hello! I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful boys aged 8 and 3 and a 10 month old girl. I am currently on leave from my Education degree of which I have been training for 4 years now and I have my BA. I have been involved in childcare for 10 years and I just adore children.
My Childcare Philosophy:
I believe that children should be nurtured, but also able to explore in a safe and fun environment. Toys, books, games, arts and crafts, are all essential to child learning and development, but so are real life experiences such as learning to express emotions properly, use language, learn manners, share, and empathize with others. I believe that children should not be pushed into rigid time schedules that serve only adults, but should learn at their own pace in a place that they feel comfortable and secure. Routine is important to make daily transitions go smoothly, but adaptability and spontaneity in life are also of value.
