If there is anyone out there who can offer any suggestions to help ease the pain of teething, especially at night......................would be helpful!! I'm not comfortable using meds all the time and would like to know some alternatives that would help sooth those swollen gums.

We generally do not(or at least very rarely) use over the counter or perscription drugs...

Try Hylands teething or Colic tablets(avaliable a Shoppers or the health food store)

Try an amber of Hazelwood necklace, also great for any skin issues in children and adults.

Kids 0-9 teething has Arnica and works really well.  They have an earache one I tried recently and it worked great too.

There is anouther homeopathing teethig remedy at Shoppers that comes in individual tubes.  It is convenient, but I don't recomend it as it dosen't work well....  I have tried on more than one child and it hasen't been overly effective.

Also some babies find gripe water helpful...
