I would love to get some new recipe ideas! So far my kids favourate is White Cheddar Mac "n" Cheese. They would eat it everyday if they could! I usually make it as a side dish to chicken fingers with apple slices and steamed broccoli!

Since I dropped buying KD, and most processed foods it is more of a challenge, as healthier foods are quite expensive(or time consuming).  Fortunatly, there are arganic versions of KD avalaible as well as nitrate free meats...  Also I am less picky on daycare days as long as lunch covers all 4 food groups(I have some daycare kids that are very picky regarding healthy food).

I have kids here extended hours so I do breakfast or supper too most days...

I love my crock pot for homemade soups and stews...  but I find the kids aren't big fans...  My girls don't even like a roast(sad because it is so easy add a few veggies, a bun and milk and there's dinner plus left overs).

My daughter loves egg in the hole(egg fried in a peice of bread), I serve it with fruit/veggies and milk.

grilled cheese and apple sandwiches are also good(you can use processed cheese if you like it, as they tend to be cheaper).

I'd like to hear what others do...
